Dick Wolf was born in New York on 20 December 1946. His father’s name was George Wolf, and his mother’s name was Marie G. By profession, his father was an advertising manager, and his mother was a housewife. In the early days of Dick Wolf’s life, his first name was Richard Anthony Wolf. In addition to religion, his father was Jewish, and his mother was Roman Catholic. 

He attended Saint David’s School, The Gunnery, for his early education. He also attended Philips Academy. After that, he went to the University of Pennsylvania for higher education. In 1969, he completed his graduation. His next step was to join the fraternity Zeta Psi. He discovered his interest at an early age.
